Honey has many health benifits. Many people use it as a way to relive a sore throat. It is also used as a topical for cuts, burns, and skin infections.
Cinnamon has health bennifits too. It can possitivly help LDL. It has been proven to stop medicine resistant yeast infections.
The formula for honey and cinnamon for weight loss is ubiquitous.
- Use honey and cinnamon in a 1:2 ratio (one part cinnamon, two parts honey) 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 teaspoon honey.
- Put the cinnamon in a cup or bowl.
- Boil one cup of water.
- Pour water over the cinnamon and let it steep for 30 minutes.
- Once the liquid has cooled, add honey. Always add honey to the cooled liquid - hot liquid will destroy the enzymes in the raw honey.
- Drink half of the resulting "tea" before going to bed. Cover and refrigerate the rest.
- Drink the other half first thing in the morning.
- Do not add anything to the recipe. Only drink on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning and right before bed.
