Cupcake flower boquiet (great gift for mothers day)

 

This would make a great mothers day present. It's pretty cheep and easy and is way cuter than just boring old regular cupcakes.

Essentials-
cupcakes iced with whatever colors you want
a flower pot
kabob skewers
a piece of Styrofoam
ribbons

directions....
1.place a piece of styrofoam in a a flower pot "make sure that it is tall enough to reach the top of the pot or pretty close so it supports the cupcakes better)
2. push cabob skewers into the Styrofoam (make sure to push them in pretty far down where only about an inch of skewer is sticking out)
3. peirce through the bottom of the cupcake with the skewers
4. Curl some ribbon with a pair of scissors place them gently between the cupcakes
5. tie a bow around the flower pot

Alternatives and additions....
you could also attach a tag to the ribbon around the pot and put the recipients name on it.
place a cherry in the middle of each cupcake
